The old ruins and megalithic strucures of the paganworld as still close, although the worn-down roads and becoming less defined, and a chaos of the natural biodome is taking shape, in an oddly unruly way.
there seems to be other things here, strange creatures.
the smell seems oddly salty, warm odours, the hark of owl-birds in the north-forest up here cause your hair to stand on end,
the further wails of sea-slimes, sea birds, odd howls...
this is a strange place... i guess if you wander too far from the castle-walls, it does get weirder...




You slowly walk past the fern-groves , and the adaptable box-shrubs; alas~ you wander upon a forsaken land, Down past the stone-circles of the upper world gardens, hiding amidst the thicket & clusters of the bracken & yarrow, there is a tread through a narrow passage ~~ down a waterfall, a perilous rocky-outcrop world, balanced - in volcanic-flower-giving dis-entropic eqlibrium. a fertile eracity.- an evolutionary isolation; unique species splendour the Lands...
The smell of pine and buttercups, lilies & bromediad's climbers..& morning glories daintily bend ~
climb we must, - drifting glo-flies, dancing bees~ - Swarm in the evening Air.

The mist swallowed valley holds many properties:
~ the underwater simic chamber has two entrances,
one only for Merpeople, and one for terrestial people,
The chambers for the Merpeople glow in irredescent greens and turquoise, Mer-Runic is charmed and engraved into the Aquatecture forming a watery cavern that only Merpeople can swim down into.
entrance into the Mer-gate may be sought by talking to the Mer-Beast on the grassy hill. Ze will cast Runic in the Mer language and magic runic will be casted like a spell to enchant the aquatecture and landscape into a water-doorway.

With the land locked into the Lost Folorn Domain, the Wild Merpeople find as their lands.
the valley twists and turns into a nexus of watery fens.
Under the ground is a hidden sanctum, something fishy is going on.
the Mer-gic hides something in the ice.
There is something inthe pool, a scry?
It is like a City lies sideways, encased in Ice.
strange dry ice drips from the ceiling. the walls slither
with cold ooze from the Lair above.
the sodden soil path downwards might be trodden,
but it seems unstable anyhow.
The valley overthere is dark and foggy,
but you think you can hear some sounds, like voices.

The forest is so dense and strange you almost lose your senses, the paths seem incomprehensiable.
the gnarled crooked trees twisted by the valley wind, This really is a lost world!
so far from anywhere, so easily lost, a foreboding odd land,hidden here, behind view of the bubbling aether lakes, frozen and thawing and gushing with who knows what materials, strange organic substances, stranges mists - and behind this seemingly planted grassy hedge, this wall of trees,
and ivy, and overgrown ferns, behind the valley hiding the borders of mountains, larger forests, deeper swamps, ineviatable.

You descend down a leafy plant border, the strange howl of the valley above grows fainter, past the calciform rockpools and nenner-rythyms of the icyvalley formations, taken over again by overgrown vines, brambles an d protruding branches, underducts & a plethora of leaves on every plant, the way through is tricky and plants sting and sap begins to rub and irritate, thick foliage blocks most of the paths, you can feel the strange presence of hte plateau world above, but this misty hollow is drenched in lichen & primeval twisted trees, something - like a dreamlike
quality, lives here, - the presence of numinous light beings - ~ _

~ The Folorn Valley \\ the roottangle /, summit woods \ Northern Folorn Forest ~~

This world seems to be overrun with Moss ~ the fog-scrub that makes up the Highlands, contorts the trees into strange twisted shapes - gradually water-ferns start to emerge - hunting bird, circles overhead - Wisps and clumps of Clouds strectch across the valley, soon overrun by WetLands and peat - boglands, tall reeds sprout upwards - a plant sea against the reddened sky,
This is not the warm hearth of village, nor the Urbous. But a primeval Torn valley of sludge, crud, dirt, all types of benign & ominous critters seem to lurk in the shadows.
The fine sandy soil of the upperworld here seems to show off the remains of an older world...black fogs settle in the valley pass, purple-lilac-tinted skies tust & bustle overhead. The chilling wind howls in the ears. This dark valley of the past - was once A lostworld, a land beneath alien fog, warm life brewed in the humid swamps - A world of strange life was born; Sentient plants, giant molluscs & slimy creatures, The cloud-movement over the Uplands is a consistent whirl of rippled wind-ruffles, a foreboding energy - to try to describe it, would merely place you further under its Savage whims, But there is some quiet too here, This land is not far from the CastleWorld,, The Natruralis`' lands do cross into here -

Further down the valley, you follow a mossy spectacular river: entiwned with bromeliads and scarlet-tropical flowering
plants,the flooded river-grove bubbles,mist forms , brimming over the edges of this strange location , entwined scrambles of roots and branches together form a tunnel-lattice of flooded canopies , as the land sinks into itself -leading down unknown paths to dark-lit undergroves...~ a flickering twilight imagery betrays the atmosphere, and twinkles of stardust flitter on the dusk-lit surfaces of the deep pools, twisted branches shoot up from below -. they chime , as old wood rots and sinks into the Lakes, decomposing beneath the sallow.
This is Mer-land, this is the Mer-World.
the kin of the water-beings are said to Wander & traverse the tempestous Folorn world. although, their presence, somewhat mysterious, unusual and elusive - watery.
This lost-world lands seems almost lost to time, an uncanny barren roam-lands of muck, Urr, dirt - rocklands, low-cark-clouds,
the quiet side of the mountain, a sheltered yuk ful of sheer happenstance, a quiet moor of sodden fallowed landscapes,

She is using the Water Vortex to brew up a storm in the North, this Mage has been sent from the Tempest World,
as you see, she stands here, surrounded by magical rock and water enttities that change the environment to make a space for her, Her magic creates lakes and swamps and waterlands, the BlueOrb is used to create the Whirpool from which she channels arcane water magics from the TempestLands,
This is a Simic Guildgate. You can travel with it via magical use of the Water. the guildgate is on an Axis of the world,
and functions like a magical inbetween place for Waterworlds and the plainslands.
the guildgate also has relative minor functions as a townsplace or city. a few live and trade here.

Once again we are at the edges of the GloomCity. Leylines shift here, the Gloom backWoods & the dark Citadels sprawl of the Tempest World
collide with the underworld of Agartha. the Vaults are here, the SumpCogtown , shanty-district does dealings with natural export from the Folorn lands; , through the Gates,
This is the Foundry - this is where the Thran Turbine is, under the mountain .
the darkcity canalworld, dammed by denial of the Torrents from the Waterlands,
the region, turned to bog. the darkwoods turned to swamp ~
cavernous passages loop and stretch for miles, beneath the surfaces of the Mountain worlds above. Stalkers and Elf-scouts patrol the area, on lookout for wanderers who may happen to be at the city's edge. A gloomy-barricade, a citadel on edge; Gloomtown struts out, A sodden-Gateway back into the City... or these lands below; marshes... wetlands... swamps... it is accessiable, but bewarned; the land is a slew- agush with uneven surfaces, humd-clouds gather - and stormclouds rumble nearby, although cannot be seen. the Fairy-lights of the wetlands & forested folorn may be one of our best guides - if only the forest-pixies were not so mischevious and misleading !!

you hear the sound of rushing water again, the valley air chirps with the calls of alien and exotic birdlife; You began tonotice after a while, how benign the life is, so dangerous,yet so safe, somehow,
